This single vineyard Malbec is a pretty and perfumed expression that comes from a team headed by chief winemaker Fabian Valenzuela and Pomerol-based consultant Jean Claude Berrouet (formerly winemaker at Château Petrus). The mix of floral and spice notes add interest to the fresh red aromas on the nose, while the palate is wonderfully harmonious and supple from start to finish. This is an elegant expression that’s drinking nicely now and promises to mature nicely over the next three to five years. Highly Recommended. Released August 19 at Vintages
