Fourth generation of winegrowers Franck and Cyrille Chavy are in charge of this Morgon cru, which includes holdings in the Les Charmes and Corcelette climats. The 2014 Morgon offers appealingly concentrated fruit aromas and flavours, which makes for a Gamay with impressive structure and drinkability. The layers of flavours suggest a pleasing mix of red and black fruit, with some floral and spice complexity and enough acidity and tannin to keep everything in check. Drink now to 2022. Recommended.
