The Chip Off the Old Block bottling continues to carry forth the legacy of Road 13’s 1968 block of Chenin Block. Always ripe and fruity, this is fresh and fun, with a mix of tree fruit flavours and some floral and spice accents (enhanced by small additions of Orange Muscat and Viognier). A hint of sweetness helps to enhance the crowdpleasing character. This is a great value white that’s drinking nicely now and will continue to develop over the next few years. Recommended. (89/100)
