Yalumba has been a long-standing champion of the classic Australian blend, producing its iconic The Signature Cabernet-Shiraz every vintage since its launch in 1962. The Scribbler was introduced to show the compelling character of that winning combination at a more accessible price. The 2013 edition is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (59 percent) and Shiraz (41 percent), which makes for an intensely flavoured and firm medium-bodied red wine with appealing balance, length and complexity. An attractive floral and baking spice fragrance adds to the charm. Highly Recommended.
