A richer style than the 2015 vintage, this rewarding blend of 92 percent Sauvignon Blanc and eight percent Sémillion boasts a pleasant core of citrus and stone fruit, creamy texture and clean sweep of acidity on the mouthwatering finish. The majority of the blend comes from the Wappo Hill vineyard in Stag’s Leap District (59 percent of the blend) and To Kalon in Oakville (39 percent), harvested between August 3^rd and September 22^nd. The mix of herbal and fruit aromas underscore the bold Sauvignon Blanc personality. Whole clusters were pressed to maintain the freshness and vibrancy, with the juice fermented and aged for six months in French oak barrels (two percent new). Nicely integrated and persistence, there’s bright intensity to match the wine’s lush character. 14,848 cases.
